The first full-fledged full big band in Minami-Boso, launched in April 2022 under the auspices of Kimitsu Shimin Hall.
The members were chosen by simple audition and consist of jazz-loving adults in Kazusa area.
The band is led by Hiroyuki Karikomi, a jazz trombonist from Kimitsu City, and practices twice a month in the form of lessons.
Since its inception, the group has made remarkable technical progress and has grown to give its first recital in a short period of time.
Their future goal is to become a popular music group representing the Kazusa area both in name and reality.
