Exhibition of posthumous works in memory of the three artists

This is an exhibition of posthumous works by Tianyou Kaneki, who led Sodegaura High School to a national calligraphy performance competition, and Mitsuru Kawana and Tetsuo Umeda, both active in the Futtsu Art Association's oil painting division.

Sodegaura High School's Calligraphy Club has achieved success in well-known national competitions such as the Calligraphy Koshien and the National High School Comprehensive Culture Festival. We borrowed more than 10 works that remain in the home of Mr. Masashi Kaneki, who has enthusiastically guided this club with his "Sode Sho Soul".

From the studio of Mr. Mitsuru Kawana, we borrowed two large paintings of No.100 and works depicting Kawagoe and the Setouchi area.

More than a dozen works by Tetsuo Umeda from the collection of Yue no Kaze, from the 1960s to the most recent, are exhibited at the same time.

Admission is free.
Donations to the "Throwing Money Box" for gallery maintenance are welcome.

The coffee shop "Ochaya" is also open. There will be small items for sale, but no food.
