Seiwa Marugoto Experience "Firefly Viewing with Parents and Children" will be held again this year. After learning about the ecology of fireflies at the Seiwa Regional Base Complex "Oragawa," we will "view fireflies" while walking around Nishiawakura on foot. It is said that fireflies cannot survive without clean water, so parents and children are invited to experience the unique scenery of Kiyowa. Fireflies will be temporarily captured for viewing, but cannot be taken home.

Date and Time ：
June 8, 2024 （ Sat ） 19:00 ～ 20:00 （ Registration 18:45 ～ ）
*Postponed if it rains June 15 （ Sat ）
Meeting place ：
Seiwa Regional Base Complex "Oragawa" （ 36 Nishiawakura, Kimitsu ）

Capacity ：
First 10 parent-child pairs

Deadline ： May 24 （ Fri ）

Fee ：
500 yen per family （ Materials ・ Insurance fee included ）

What to bring ：
Flashlight, long sleeves ・ long pants
*no sandals （ to prevent mosquitoes, snakes, etc. ）

*Outdoor activities may involve contact with poisonous creatures such as snakes ・ and plants. Please be aware that although our staff will make every effort to ensure your safety, you are responsible for your own safety.
*Please refrain from participating if you have a family member with health problems.
*The event may be postponed due to weather conditions. In that case, we will notify you by 15:00 on the day of the event.
