Shibatogomama （ Saitogomama ） Fire-Walking Ceremony

　On Sunday, May 19, 2024 （ ）, "Shibatogoma （ Saitogoma ） Firewalking Festival" was held at Daisenji Temple in the Nagasa district.
This is an arduous ritual in which ascetic monks dressed as mountain priests and general visitors walk barefoot along a path created by the burning remains of a gomadan to pray for good health ・ and safety in the home.
This year, 265 people participated.
