Earthquake Preparedness

Today, March 11, is the day of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
In addition, the Noto Peninsula Earthquake occurred on January 1, 2024, and seismic activity has continued off the east coast of Chiba Prefecture since February 26, and 38 earthquakes measuring 1 or more on the Japanese seismic intensity scale had occurred by March 8.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, since earthquakes of around magnitude 5 have occurred off the east coast of Chiba Prefecture in the past, and seismic activity has been active for one week to several months, caution is required in the future.
Let's check our preparedness for earthquakes once again.

・ Consider securing and arranging furniture to ensure safety inside your home.
・ Check evacuation sites and evacuation routes.
・ Check your stockpiles and emergency supplies.
*Stockpile at least 3 days' worth of stockpiles, and a week's worth if possible.
